GHS Precautionary Statements (P-Statements) — Complete Reference
Precautionary statements (P-phrases) tell users how to minimise or prevent adverse effects from exposure to hazardous chemicals, or how to respond to accidents and dispose of waste safely. Under GHS and CLP they are grouped into general, prevention, response, storage, and disposal types. Combined codes such as P301+P312 appear as single entries where the official text merges two statements. This reference lists every P-code in our database with English wording and counts of harmonised Annex VI substances that include each code.
