1-nitropropane is a flammable liquid (flash point below 60 °C, Category 3). Store in a dedicated flammable storage cabinet, away from oxidisers and ignition sources. Use explosion-proof electrical equipment in storage areas. Containers must be kept tightly closed and grounded during transfer to prevent static discharge.
